14th Kings Hussars

This is the 3rd pattern (smaller) badge and was only in existence for a period of 7 years, a die-struck gilding-metal badge with brass slider to reverse known within the regiment as the Cartwheel.
The unit was first raised as a British Army light cavalry regiment in Southern England in 1715, in 1922 the regiment was amalgamated with The 20th Hussars to form the 14th/20th Hussars.
